In 2015, I went through a series of life changes that made it difficult for me to maintain a traditional work schedule, so I made my own: I picked up my first two clients, and I've been going strong ever since.I offer administrative support, e-commerce support, photography services, and writing/editorial support. I have been an administrative assistant for roughly 25 years, and I have done writing and editing off and on for around 20 years.My administrative focus includes: organizing/filing; editorial; scheduling; purchasing; e-commerce support; errands...and more.My editorial focus includes: Web copy; blogging and blog support; social media; correspondence; copy editing; citizen journalism/stringing; comedy writing; poetry; basic photo editing; corporate photography...and more.I have a background working for contract research organizations (CROs,) as well as many other types of businesses.When meeting a new client, I take the time to listen to what they need, and I clearly specify what is within the scope of what I do and what is not. My hours are flexible, and I will respond to emails, texts, etc. any time I see them. I take and return phone calls during the hours listed. I do not close for holidays, unless I am travelling or have company.While most of my work takes place in my home office, I am willing to work on-site in some cases, and I do my initial client meetings on-site. I cover anywhere between Washington, DC, Frederick, MD, Martinsburg, WV, and Winchester, VA.
