The Salvation Army of Northwest Arkansas has been part of this community for over 120 years. We care for people in Benton, Washington, Carroll, and Madison Counties. Our mission is to extend the love of God and meet human needs in His name without discrimination by providing hope, healing and making lives whole. In our community, we operate two Emergency Shelters, (Fayetteville & Bentonville), a drug and alcohol recovery center, three family thrift stores and social services offices, plus Corps Centers in Fayetteville, Rogers, and Springdale which offer weekly opportunities for families and individuals. During 2017, we served 106,356 meals, provided 24,517 nights of shelter, and distributed 2,200 Christmas gifts. We served 1,834 individuals and 827 families. Additionally, 17 men graduated from our rehabilitation program and 183 people found permanent housingWe have many volunteer opportunities for people in our community as well!
