The Sanctuary is a 100 cover restaurant in the heart of Taunton split over two floors with a roof terrace. Buying the best ingredients from local suppliers we produce fine fresh seasonal dishes. With daily fresh fish specials and regularly changing a la carte and light lunch menus variety is our key.Set in the heart of Taunton, not much more than a stone's throw from the Somerset County Cricket Ground, The Sanctuary is an established and popular brasserie with a reputation for serving excellent fresh local produce. In addition to sourcing food from one of England's finest larders, the restaurant is well known for its West Country charm. We open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 11.30am until 2.30pm with either a light lunch menu or full a la carte and Sunday lunch from 12.00pm until 4.00pm. We are open for Evening meals and drinks from 5.30pm until 11.00pm (last food orders at 10.00pm) with daily specials. We will soon be starting a pudding club so watch for details!The upstairs restaurant is also available for private parties or meetings as it can seat upto 40 guests, Contact us to discuss your requirements.
