The Seahawk, founded 1948, is the official campus newspaper of UNC Wilmington. Composed and edited entirely by UNCW students, The Seahawk publishes online throughout the year and once monthly in print during the fall and spring semesters. As a forum for free expression, the Seahawk and its staff operate with complete editorial freedom. The views contained in The Seahawk are those of its staff or contributing writers and do not represent the views of UNCW.
