The SHINE Initiative exists to ensure girls and women are Safe, Healthy, Inspired, Nurtured and Educated.SHINE has funded existing nonprofit organizations with grants ranging from $250 to $2,500 that are used to expand or introduce program offerings for local girls and women in our five key areas of focus. To date, $22,500 has been awarded to deserving organizations including NewDay Services, Alliance for Children, Foundation for the Young Women's Leadership Academy, CASA of Tarrant County, The Ladder Alliance, Girls Inc., Boys & Girls Club, Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Texas Health Resources Foundation, and the Gladney Center for Adoption.
