Founded in 2004, The Singers organization is dedicated to giving world-class performances of the finest choral literature. The Singers exists to serve as artists, educators, and ambassadors of the choral art. The Singers has premiered and commissioned over fifty new works by composers Stephen Paulus, Abbie Betinis, Jocelyn Hagen, Joshua Shank and Craig Carnahan. In 2006, The Singers sang for the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Minnesota chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. In 2008, The Singers performed at the ACDA North Central Division Convention, the American Guild of Organists National Convention, and shared the stage with the Harvard Glee Club. In 2010, The Singers performed a collaboration concert at the ACDA North Central Convention under the baton of Craig Hella Johnson. In March 2011, The Singers performed at the National Convention of the American Choral Directors Association in Chicago. June 2013 marked the Singers debut concerts at prestigious Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL.
