THE PROBLEMWhen over 40% of eligible voters don't make it to the polls, we have to do something.The right to vote is a cornerstone of our democracy. Today, though, it faces challenges we couldn't even imagine just a few years ago. Foreign meddling. Technology vulnerabilities. Partisan gerrymandering. Voter Suppression. Apathy. All create an environment where it's hard to believe the individual vote matters.A NEW APPROACHThe resources are there, but it's clear these alone aren't enough. Traditional voices of authority don't have the same weight as before. They've been replaced by peer driven ones, such as search and social media. Makes sense: what gets us off the sidelines, moves us to action in our regular lives?
