The Special Foundation is a privately funded social impact organization focused on building Africa's next set of Leaders by refining their minds through education. We seek to achieve this by empowering less privileged, gifted African Children through education, mentorship and leadership opportunities.The foundation was created by Seyi Akinwale through his vision to improve the quality of leadership in all spheres of governance in Africa and ensure the creation of a platform where more young people can maximize their potential by gaining access to education.The Special Foundation currently has various programs which include: Inspire Scholarship targeted at orphaned and vulnerable children in disadvantaged communities for primary and secondary education. Special Scholarship targeted at identifying gifted students for local tertiary institutions.The Mentorship Program that focuses on identifying young talents and linking them with opportunities or platforms that allow them best fulfill their potential.School Builds Program which involves provision of school furniture and infrastructure to make sure more children have access to a safe and quality learning environment. We believe this is critical to ensuring more children gain access to quality education.Special Summer School Programs which encourages learning and discovery in a fun environment.
