We are a friendly free house in the heart of Putney Village.We have an enviable location, right on Putney Common, where we provide our dedicated Benches every year, from April to October, where you can sit and enjoy a drink and a meal in glorious surroundings. In the winter, come inside and warm up in front of our open fire.We offer hearty, gutsy food, built around locally sourced ingredients, award-winning meats, and creative vegetarian choices. Our Sunday Roasts are legendary. As a free house, we are constantly changing our beers and we avidly support our local breweries, such as Jefferson's and Watneys. Drop in to sample our latest selection.We love to host your events, whatever the size, be it a small gathering, an anniversary, birthday celebration or a lavish, beautiful wedding.And dogs are always, always welcome.
