For the last few years, Pakistan's ecosystem is growing rapidly. While people are slowly learning more about the startup culture in the local market, the startup ecosystem in Pakistan has a long way to go.The Startup Gen promises to not only recognise the upcoming potential businesses all over Pakistan, but also to document their entire journey at the show, which will work as a guiding beacon for startups in terms of how to pitch, how to make simple ideas money-makers etc. The Startup Gen aspires to bring your startup in front of the mass audience and provide an opportunity to pitch your ideas to the best investors/businessmen of the country.The startups will first by applying to participate in Startup Gen through our website. Over 20 shortlisted startups will then be interviewed from across Pakistan, 8 of which will then qualify for the Startup Gen Pitch Camp. The 8 selected teams from across Pakistan will attend a Pitch Camp in Islamabad from 11th November to 15th November 2019. The grand finale will determine which startup wins Startup Gen 2019, scoring a fully-funded chance to participate in Barcelona's biggest startup conference (4YFN) in 2020.
