The State Railway Inspectorate under the Ministry of Transport and Communications (SRI) is the National Railway Safety Authority of the Republic of Lithuania. Having the vision of a safe railway transport and a society where no accidents, deaths and injuries occur, we seek to: - ensure high level safety of the railway traffic; - enhance the interoperability of the railway system; - promote the competition in the provision of railway transport services; - improve railway transport services provided for customers; - lay down the requirements on railway traffic safety and interoperability in cases prescribed by the law.
