Events/Conferences - Dalton, MA, US
The Stationery Factory is a former Crane & Co. factory being developed into a quality-oriented marketplace and small business location in the Berkshires, opening to the public in the Spring of 2016. It is a partnership established with the vision of developing this iconic place into a space that will compliment existing local offerings in the central Berkshires and enhance the community of Dalton, Massachusetts. We encourage businesses that link to sustainability, a tangible connection to the local community and environment, and improve our health and wellbeing to join the Stationery Factory. Current businesses who've set up shop at the Stationery Factory include: RBD Electronics, Lena Harrington-Esko and Jessica St. John Massage Therapy, The Biz of Coffee, The New Dalton Group, Berkshire Duct & Vent Service, Scott Taylor Paintings, and 9 East Screen Printing. Shire Breu Hous, a nanopub-brewery, Silver Bear Distillery, and McDermott Designs, a custom furniture manufacturer, are set to open in early 2016. We hope to attract small restaurants serving local, non-GMO, and organic options; a performance space; a small natural foods grocery; gallery space; local artisans shops; and coffee and tea shops. We also see opportunity to locate light manufacturing, R&D, and fulfillment businesses that desire to be in town. Our building has a long history within Dalton, and we hope to embrace the heritage and build upon it, perhaps developing a Welcome Center for Dalton residents and visitors. By successfully transforming this space into a thriving marketplace and small business location, we hope to better serve the community in a multitude of ways.
