The Studios is a 10,000 square foot center for the performing arts located in the Times Square Building at 1801 5th Avenue.The Studios is one-part training center and one-part state of the art rental facility. Our training center offers classes for adults, from beginners to advanced professionals, in dance, theatre, and music. We are a public space energizing the neighborhood as a cultural hub, artistic resource, and a treasure for Seattle's future. We are where Seattle goes to challenge, incubate, launch, succeed, and inspire.The Studios training center offers classes in the disciplines of acting, dance, and music. Our faculty consists of local professionals and master technicians with a rotation of guest artists from New York and abroad. We offer master classes from award winning artists and industry veterans. Our curriculum structure allows us to offer consistent training while keeping our clients plugged into the current pulse of the industry; both equally necessary for the incubation of artists at all levels.Our state of the art studios include 4 dance studios, 3 multiuse studios, and one dedicated recording studio. Rentals are available for rehearsals, auditions, private lessons, workshops, cabarets, and showcases by individuals and companies alike. The recording studio features a user-friendly setup for voice-overs, demo recordings, audition taping, etc. The Studios will conduct business within the AEA guidelines, providing a Union approved rehearsal and audition space.
