OUR VISION:A world where every person living with sickle cell carrier disease, irrespective of social status, has access to the right information and quality medical care and information necessary to manage their condition and improve their quality of life. irrespective of their social status.OUR MISSION:We are committed to helping poor indigent embers of the society with the sickle cell carriers disorder secure medical health insurance to help them properly manage their condition.WHAT WE DO:The Sunchild Foundation partners with reputable Government and Private health institutions, Medical Doctors, Nurses, Religious organisations, Community Leaders and Individual volunteers, to seek out people with the Sickle Cell Disease, (some of whom have life threatening complications) who genuinely cannot afford to pay for basic medical ccare., even with their life threatening condition. We verify that these individuals genuinely need this aid service and go ahead to enroll them onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (-NHIS) to , which ensures they get medical care and treatment when needed. This ever they need it. This eenrollment is renewed annually after review.
