The Sydney Globalist is a student-run publication based in Sydney, Australia that aims to publish the best in student ideas, writing and analysis on international affairs. Our audience encompasses students, academics, civil society, journalists, members of the judiciary, senior public servants, state and federal members of Parliament and the foreign policy community.Since its establishment in 2005 by undergraduate students at the University of Sydney,The Sydney Globalist has expanded from being a bi- annual magazine to a multi-platform publication comprising print, digital and social media channels. Our team has grown to include student leaders from across Sydney's universities, and contributors based interstate at universities in Melbourne, Queensland and the ACT. We continue to publish two print issues per year and online content is updated daily.The Sydney Globalist is proud to occupy a unique position at the heart of the Yale-based Global21 network of student publications, and at the intersection of Sydney's student, academic, government and civil society networks. Our connections with student and professional communities on this global scale allow our writers' voices to be amplified, and for you, our readers, to be a part of a wider, meaningful discussion of issues in international affairs that strike a chord with today's youth – tomorrow's leaders.
