The Town is a comprehensive guide to film in Toronto, a weekly newsletter focused on covering and analyzing programming across the city's (currently virtual) theatres and festivals so you can find more details and insights on what's playing in one easy place. We also do original reporting on Toronto's film community and industry, with a deep interest in all aspects of those who make, distribute, present, and watch film in one of the greatest cinema cities on earth. In 2021 The Town began an affiliation with The Transmedia Zone at X University, a community-focused incubator for innovation and creative experimentation in storytelling across entertainment media platforms.
