The Toy Appeal is a registered charity, operated by Dee and Chris Drake each year, which provides toys at Christmas to children living in poverty. The Appeal has been running since 2013.In 2018, our 6th year, we were able to provide toy sacks to over 3,800 children. This can only be achieved with your support.Working with social workers, schools and various drop-in centres, the appeal is provided with lists of families, who need help to ensure that their children receive something at Christmas. The Toy Appeal can only take requests for toy sacks via the above routes. Each toy sack is made specifically for each child, based on their age and any special needs they may have. To date, we have provided over 11,000 toy sacks to underprivileged children in the Manchester and Cheshire area.We provide toys to children, regardless of race, religion and gender.We collect new toys all year round.
