Main goals and objectives of the Russian Trade Representation in the Kingdom of Norway: - representation and protection of national interests of Russia in Norway; - carrying out effective foreign economic policy of Russia in Norway; - promotion development of economic ties between Russia and Norway, growth of bilateral trade, improvement of its structure; - encouraging the inflow of norwegian investments into Russian economy; - protection of economic interests of Russian entrepreneurs involved in foreign economic activities in Norway, assisting them in doing business in Norway; - preparation of the sessions of the Russian-Norwegian Intergovernmental Commissions; - promotion of bilateral trade and investment cooperation at regional level through organization of mutual trade and economic missions; - carrying out work on formation of the appropriate image of Russia in Norway through public information activities and presentations; - analysis of general economic conditions, economic development trends, foreign economic relations, legislation on foreign economic activities, trade and investment climate of the Norway; - assisting Russian and Norwegian business and other organizations in participation in international exhibitions and trade fairs in Russia and Norway.
