The Travelers is a NIKE Elite Youth Basketball program currently operating out of the state of Kentucky. The program was founded in 1988 by Charlie Benson to provide an opportunity for young people to reach their full potential through summer basketball. The team has grown to become one of the most recognized teams in the country with several former players going on to play in the NBA. The Travelers strive organizationally to provide the best possible experience for young players to grow as players and as young men. The program is a part of the NIKE Elite Youth Basketball League playing against the best high school talent in the country through sanctioned events all over America.
