The Tygenhof Animal Refuge advocates for charitable, humane, and educational purposes, including providing refuge for stray, abandoned, lost, or injured animals; to spay or neuter adoptable animals; to place adoptable animals in foster homes; to make funds available to people fostering adoptable animals for the care and welfare of those animals; to place adoptable animals in permanent homes; to educate the public about animal welfare; to make funds available to pet owners and caretakers to have their pets spayed or neutered; and to promote awareness of the mission of The Tygenhof Animal Refuge. The Tygenhof Animal Refuge is a small, but dedicated, non-profit animal rescue organization founded by a pet-loving family looking for a way to increase their reach to as many animals as possible. We are a registered 501(c)(3) charity. All of your donations (monetary and goods) are fully tax-deductible. Our officers and board of directors receive no salary, ensuring that 100% of your donations fund our rescue efforts directly. The organization is run by volunteers and funded entirely through donations and adoption fees.
