The Unifying Center Details
The Unifying Center is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the emotional health, healing and well-being of men and boys. Our mission is to improve the gender-based, mental health care of men and boys. Central to our work is recognizing the impact traditional masculinities have on men's health, identity development, certain behaviors and interpersonal relationships. This mission is provided through health promotion education, professional trainings and program development. Our programs are holistic in nature and take a biological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual approach to health and wellness. We advocate for and are committed to the integration of social justice (gender) and public health (mental health) theories in the delivery of this work across various systems, communities and societies.
