The U.S. Educated Azerbaijani Alumni Association (AAA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that unites all alumni of the U.S. State Department exchange programs in Azerbaijan. Founded in October 2003 by a group of U.S. educated Azerbaijani alumni, the organisation is run by the chairperson, with its advisory board of 8 alumni, and 2 advisors representing various U.S. State Department exchange programs.The AAA was officially registered at the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan in September 2004. Up to date, dozens of community projects have been implemented. Our mission is to empower young people to become leaders of their realms both within and outside of Azerbaijan. Our goals:- To develop a platform for the U.S. Educated alumni for contributing back to their communities;- To engage the alumni in networking;- To support job placements of the alumni in the local job market;- To contribute for the increase of cooperation between the governments and communities of the U.S. and Azerbaijan;- To promote education, gender equality, business growth and regional development.
