The Vagina Monologues were originally created by Eve Ensler in 1996. Eve interviewed many different women about their vaginas; their responses were used to create the show! Each monologue deals with different aspects of femininity, many of which are taboo in day to day life. The show is about the empowerment of women as well as creating a safe space to learn and think about what it means to be a woman.All proceeds go to a local charity that works to end violence against women and girls.This is a show.
