The Vincere-Huguenot Recovery Centre The Vincere-Huguenot is an ideal setting for a residential rehabilitation treatment centre, isolated from residential and commercial distractions, our location allows guests to come to an area rich in natural beauty creating a healthy and therapeutic atmosphere. It provides both a nurturing environment and strict routine, with adequate boundaries for successful recovery. The Vincere-Huguenot is a addiction treatment facility situated close to PlettenbergBay in the heart of South Africa’s beautiful Garden Route. The Vincere-Huguenot is fully registered with the South African Department of Social Development and the Board of Health Care Funders. The clinic is located at The Huguenot, an imposing and luxurious CapeDutch country house, standing in six hectares of formal gardens and woodland, bordering Harkerville forest and the world renowned KnysnaElephantPark. All clients will be given the opportunity to closely interact with the elephants under expert supervision. At The Vincere-Huguenot it is our philosophy that addiction is a treatable condition, addiction rehabilitation treatment programmes at the Vincere-Huguenot, are based upon a multi model approach and are individually tailored to each individual client’s needs. Addiction rehabilitation treatment programmes are based around Minnesota twelve step system, supported by elements of cognitive behavioural therapy and positive psychology and include both group and individual counselling. We also focus on the underlying causes of the addiction, with personalised assessments and an individually tailored care plan formulated by our clinical psychologist. A medically managed detoxification programme is available for those clients who need it.
