The Woman Angler & Adventurer podcast hosted by Angie Scott and Barb Carey. Our mission is to inspire women with a passion for fishing and the outdoors to get out there and experience amazing adventures, together blazing a trail for ourselves and generations of women to come. We want to be more active and connected so we will be better equipped to teach and learn from each other and grow together in our fishing and other outdoor pursuits. Women want to be taken seriously and be better represented by the manufacturers and brands in the outdoor industry. The Woman Angler & Adventurer is more than just a podcast. We're a movement.We're making an impact by focusing on our four cornerstones: 1. Inspire- We share the stories of everyday women getting out there and doing great things in the outdoors. These are relatable, real people. You won't find any intimidating bikini models on our show. 2. Empower- We empower women to get out there and experience adventure in their own lives. One of our main mantras is "If she can do it, I can do it."3. Educate- We educate listeners by sharing information and tips. There are no secrets here. We want you to be equipped with all the know-how to have the best outdoors experience possible. 4. Connect- We connect through our active closed Facebook Group as well as through live events. Our other main mantra is "We're better together." There's no drama. Just a bunch of likeminded women getting to know each other and building a community of support.
