The Womb Details
The Womb is an online newspaper and an e-community for all women issues. While women are about 50 percent of the total population, their voices are still to find mainstream coverage in media. The Womb hopes to be a one stop for all women issues and discussions around gender fluidity in India. We aim to bring together a community of people who are passionate about women rights and gender justice, with the aim to create safe space for women issues in the media which are oft neglected and mostly negative. For our boys and girls to grow up in a world where everyone has an equal opportunity - irrespective of gender, it is important to create this space for women issues and women stories, so that we can offset the patriarchal tilt in our mainstream media and society. We also believe that women stories around the world are similar in more ways than one, and so we aim to bring women stories from around the world on our platform. Write to us : thewombteam@gmail.com
