The YogiBerry is a platform I envisioned a long time ago, pulling it from the abstract and giving it agency has been an ambition I've harboured for a lot longer. Inspired by the fascinating people I encountered on my diverse travels, my research as a student of theology and philosophy; digging deep into areas of corruption on a socio-economic level, the many years spent in the stimulating world of sales, my time spent working with the vulnerable and (predominantly voiceless) in society, my life as a teacher of both English and yoga and most important my work as a writer, I was looking for a ‘job' that would combine all these elements into a well-paid salary. But as you could have guessed – no such job existed! Fuelled by a particularly caustic criticism made at an interview for a job I didn't really want (but felt I ought to want it!) I decided to design my own job – and so The YogiBerry was born.
