TheDinnerClub was founded in 2020 to help solve major problems in the supply chain and user experience of the food delivery market. TheDinnerClub is a meal subscription platform that connects our subscribers with local restaurants to deliver hot and ready-to-eat meals to our users' doorsteps. Meal delivery apps and meal subscription kits have both seen accelerated growth during COVID, and have both been critical to keep restaurants and farmers afloat during the pandemic. However, there are problems with both business models. Just in time food delivery apps are inconsistent, expensive, unprofessional at times, and have been squeezing their revenues from the restaurants they work with. Meal subscription kits not only require a large time commitment between prep, cook time, and clean up, they also have a high cost supply chain. TheDinnerClub is a subscription platform in a similar model to the subscription meal kits, but we use the existing supply chains for restaurants to deliver ready-to-eat meals to our subscribers base. Each of our consumers sign up for a meal plan, input their taste preferences and which nights they would like meals, and then chooses their meals for each upcoming week. TheDinnerClub works with trusted, locally resonant restaurant partners to provide meal options to our platform that our consumer can choose from. TheDinnerClub buys the meals from the restaurant partners and then delivers to each subscriber. Once all orders for the upcoming week are input, we communicate with each restaurant partner about how many of each meal we'll need each night of the week and when they need to be ready for pickup. TheDinnerClub contracts a technology based smart courier to handle all deliveries. They use their advanced analytics to optimize each delivery route based on the meal plan inputs from TheDinnerClub subscribers. Because of the planning in advance, drivers can be much more efficient and keep our costs lower than traditional delivery.
