We are an emerging all-female and non-binary Vex Robotics Competitions Organization, 2772, or "Think Fast," with our first team, 2772J. Born out of the struggle of inclusivity and positively learning STEM concepts, it is an all-girls robotics team based on the foundation of practicing robotics in a safe, positive environment. VEX Robotics has always been a significant platform for young robotics enthusiasts to grow their skills and compete. However, in our community, we face a substantial challenge of STEM inclusivity, and this team hopes to be one step forward in changing that. All of our members have participated in local VEX robotics teams for one season or more, yet we all ended up with the same experience. Though we have qualified to California State Championships, as well as World Championships, we have found that the atmosphere towards girls did not do justice to our accomplishments. Therefore, we would like to use our skills to grow other girls and ourselves in an inclusive surrounding. Our goal is to eventually expand into all high schools in California and give young women everywhere an opportunity to shine.
