Here's what we do. We use data to inform policy. We break down federal, state and local policies that affect kids in the health care, public education and child welfare systems. We collect and share relevant kids' health data. We get this important information into the hands of policymakers, community stakeholders, and our membership. We discuss current research around kids' health, create collaborative discussions across systems around issues such as the drug crisis, and we take on projects that help inform specific, important policy issues-- like bridging connections between health care and food access. This collaborative, informed approach can turn the tide on the health inequities that have challenged West Virginia's children for generations.
