Think Tank, Inc. exists to alleviate poverty by equipping communities to embrace mindsets and practices that restore the social fabric of society. We work and collaborate with community groups, churches and businesses to generate creative solutions geared toward engaging and equipping individuals and organizations to transcend poverty and strengthen community. We do this by offering training, customized coaching, and connections through specially-engineered learning exchange that is native to our philosophies to enrich people. Our team is driven by the idea that every person, neighborhood and community possesses God-given assets and gifts that can be used to restore the brokenness left by poverty. This is displayed through how we work together, collaborate with others and seek out ways to creatively bring to light opportunities to rethink and restore our communities.Established in 2006 to serve families and communities impacted by poverty, Think Tank equips your team by helping to apply the principles and best practices of poverty alleviation into your own context. We partner with seasoned ministry leaders and community developers to offer training, coaching and tools to assist churches and faith-based groups wanting to build transformational community relationships. In addition, Think Tank, a federally-funded think-tank/non-profit organization, partners with individuals, businesses and organizations seeking to invest in long-term solutions for community change. Our work is built on principles of empowerment, reciprocity and community led development. Additionally, we strive to expand our impact through partnerships, such as the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and AmeriCorps VISTA, as a key attribute of our mission to eliminate poverty and sustain thriving communities.
