Since 2003, Third Drawer Down has collaborated with the most influential artists of our time, translating their works into gift and homeware collections with an uncompromising dedication to artistic integrity, functionality, and making art accessible. Originally established as a project producing limited edition artist tea towels as prints-on-linen, Third Drawer Down has grown into a global business whose superbly crafted artist-driven objects & souvenirs nurture the ecosystem of Museums, cultural institutions, and Artist Studios. We have collaborated with more than 200 international artists including Louise Bourgeois, Judy Chicago, Guerrilla Girls, Chris Johanson, Alex Katz, Yayoi Kusama, Marilyn Minter, Chris Ofili, Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Shaw, Kiki Smith, David Shrigley, and Mickalene Thomas. Currently, women artists represent 60% of our Artist Collections, and we will continue to inspire our customers to challenge gender, racial, and social barriers. By 2006, the studio began making bespoke products for such prestigious institutions as the Tate, MoMA and Whitney. This point represented the realisation of the studio's vision to bridge the gap between artists, the cultural institutions that represent them and ultimately to extend the artist's story in a sensitive yet commercial manner. We are always open to talking about collaborations that you have in the pipeline or simply having a chat about an idea that is just taking form. The design, licensing and distribution of bespoke cultural products is in our blood. This site showcases more than 10 years of where our studio has come from and we hope that you'll be a part of where we're going.
