Third Grade Literacy Project Details
Third Grade Literacy Project (3GLP) seeks to ensure that every child, regardless of race, family income, or zip code, receives high-quality reading instruction so that he/she may read proficiently on or above a third grade level by the end of his/her third grade year. We work towards this goal by (1) providing high-quality direct reading instruction to children in under served communities, (2) increasing family access to literacy-building resources, and by (3) mobilizing parents to influence policy related to early childhood education in their area.
