Classes incorporate prop based, passive and active poses to facilitate health and rejuvenation.Yoga Teacher, Jerry Balderas studied in Austin, TX with Bekir Algan, Ph.D., Co-founder Austin Yoga. Teachings are influenced by studies in structural engineering, Iyengar yoga, Macrobiotics, Ayurveda, Continuum, Vedanta, Aikido, and the Sufi teachings of creating sparks in the hearts of kindred spirits. Classical and innovative design and use of props to affectively body-sculpt students.His main studies have been supported by the phenomenal works of great yogis such as Patanjali, Svatmarama, Krisnamacharya, B.K.S. Iyengar, Jois, Scaravelli, Desikachar, Ghandi as well as workshops with Senior Iyengar yoga teachers Gabriella Giubilaro, Manuso Manos, Ramanand Patel, Laurie Blakeney, Patricia Walden, and Joan White.
