This Art FairThis Art Fair is a unique art fair: over 150 talented artists, with or without a gallery, show and sell their works at the stunning Kromhouthal. This Art Fair demonstrates the diversity of the visual arts, showcasing unseen and up-and-coming talents as well as established artists. This Art Fair aims to present visual arts in a variety of media: from painting to performances and from video to photography. Enjoy outstanding artworks, discover new talent, and meet the artist at This Art Fair.This Art Fair is more than a presentation platform alone. Through This Art Fair, and our educational programme This Works we aim contribute to the economic independence of artists, and enhance cultural entrepreneurship and expertise.This Works is a low-key club for professional artists consisting of masterclasses, speed dates with art professionals, workshops and visits to corporate and private collections, The Art in Redlight FoundationThe Art in Redlight Foundation was set up in 2005 with the aim of supporting visual artists in their profession, both artistically and organizationally. The foundation has done so by creating an annual, high quality art event in Amsterdam's Oude Kerk. In 2014 Art in Redlight celebrated its 10-year anniversary by moving to the Beurs van Berlage.It was at this new location that the foundation put itself on the map, with more visitors and more participating artists than ever before. In 2015 the foundation continued this process of professionalization, with a new name for the event, This Art Fair, a new look, and new team members.In the years to follow This Art Fair continued its growth, attracting more visitors every year and increasing the quality of presentations.In 2020, This Art Fair decided to move to a new location in Amsterdam Noord, in a different season, to sustain the fair's growth. At the same time the foundation launched the initiative, This Works.
