Thobors Boulangerie Patisserie Café is owned by Marc and Sylvie Thobor. Marc is a Parisian-trained bread baker. He emigrated from France with his family to become the master baker at Le Comptoir de Célestin.In 2008, Marc bought the bakery, renamed it Thobors and moved it to its current Davisville location, one door north. In 2016, they open a new location in the Upper Village. Thobors has now become a destination on its own, with customers lining up to indulge in freshly baked baguettes and Viennoiseries as well as delicious and beautiful hand made pâtisseries and chocolates by Sylvie Thobor.Please stop by and enjoy a coffee or a café lunch, including freshly prepared baguette sandwiches, soups, quiches, salads and more. We make everything in house. We also feature a selection of artisanal chocolates hand made by Sylvie Thobor, as well as a wide selection of home-made jams.We offer custom and special orders, including wedding and other celebration cakes and chocolate gift packages — please call us and we'll be happy to offer ideas and inspiration for your special occasion.
