Three Wise Monkeys is a media production and post-production company undertaking high quality, inventive and innovative audio-visual design, animation and live action project for narrative and spectacle driven stories and communications. We develop, design, supervise, produce and deliver visual-effects and animation-based simulated environmental and architectural films, experiences and location-based immersive-media installations, that create surprising encounters and liminal events using creative technologies. We believe that by highlighting the contrasts that exist between the ways we feel and think that we can help the world visualise a better version of our communities and society. We create compelling and memorable stories, communications and experiences that enable audiences to reconsider their action on one another, on the ecology and environment by affecting surprise, emotional connection with involvement and ambiguity. Enabling subtle contradictions around themes, subjects, tools and objects in our immersive media design and production engenders a questioning of existing practice and relations that offer new approaches and orientations.We provide collaborative multi-media ideation, direction, production and post production to delivery across all formats of linear and interactive or participatory media. Our practices are live action, visual effects, animation production using the latest creative technology applications for media productions and immersive-based experiences. The company is led by Director and Producer Carl Grinter's practice interests are in emotional involvement and connection, creating new experiences that engineer a new way of seeing the world to create compelling and memorable journeys and narratives.Alongside a Practice PhD in immersive media design and production, Carl has an MBA (Distinction) and a BSc (Honours) in Chemistry.
