I love everything about racing and race tracks except the cost. I spend as much time at track days as possible with my 2008 Subaru STi and 2011 Mustang GT. With the exception of 2015, I have been racing with SCCA for a few years.Intensive, low-traction, car control training is an amazing experience. I recently completed six days of rally training at Team O'Neil in NH with the intention of racing stage rally as soon as feasible. I will never give up road course racing, but being sideways is too much fun.For 2016, I will be racing my Subaru 2.5 RS with SCCA. Unfortunately, I ran into mechanical, and motivational, issues in 2015. With its lithe weight, a short wheelbase, and an obscene amount of tinkering the 2.5 RS may, or not, be a formidable All Wheel Drive challenger. While the car's platform can run everything from a USDM WRX to a JDM STi power-train, I've decided to be a masochist and race with its stock naturally aspirated engine and power-train.I previously ran my Honda Prelude Si, and a Civic before that, both with SCCA. I firmly believe that momentum is more important than HP. It's awesome to race a slow car fast and at the limit of my meager talent. My home track is New Jersey Motorsports Park, known as NJMP, in Millville NJ. I have campaigned in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. My favorite tracks are Watkins Glen and Barber.
