Thrive is an organization dedicated to supplementing youth education and edifying students on options that are open to them after they complete high school. From our own personal experiences, we have found that there are certain hard skills that we wish were emphasized more in the high school setting, seeing as it would have helped tremendously in the transition from high school graduation to either the college classroom or the workforce. This program is focused on providing students the opportunity to learn some of these hard skills and synergize this newfound knowledge with the self-development and growth they gain from the Touchstone Tools for Teens initiative already implemented in the Ithaca community. Our vision:1. To prepare local students to succeed in college and the workforce. 2. To promote and establish the development of life and leadership skills.3. To empower individuals with confidence to communicate effectively and become proactive in all endeavors.4. To promote leadership practices that will result in socially responsible and sustainable decision making. 5. To increase the multiple intelligence and emotional quotient of our members and students.
