THRIVE Lifeline is a grassroots internationally-serving crisis text line, made up of Crisis Responders who in the greater STEMM fields and represent intersections of LGBTQI2S+, people of color, people living with disabilities, non-traditional students, and a number of other traditionally underrepresented identities. Our volunteers work remotely from all over the Americas.We are ASIST-certified suicide interveners who help keep texters safe during times of acute mental health crises. If a texter is not in an acute crisis we are uniquely qualified to help them with navigating identity, orientation, or barriers to academic and professional entry. We value and advocate for whole-human support with a unique cross-identity and trauma-informed approach.THRIVE Lifeline is a non-profit hotline, offering 24/7/365 judgment-free, confidential text messaging to individuals aged 18+. Providing this service takes volunteers who are passionate about mental health in STEMM and willing to become trained as Crisis Responders or interested in volunteering in a variety of organizational positions.
