Throwboy is a plush toy and entertainment brand that specializes in unique, premium throw pillows inspired by Internet culture. The company was founded in 2007 by Roberto Hoyos after he handmade computer icon shaped pillows that went viral online. Throwboy has seen rapid growth with its Emoji Pillows® product line now sold in over 1,000 brick and mortar stores worldwide including Bloomingdale's and Zumiez. In 2017, the company launched a pillow line with PepsiCo, joining their hugely successful #SayItWithPepsi campaign.Expanding their line to their own IP, Throwboy launched Pillow Fighters, a new product line based on its original characters. Introduced in their comic series, the Pillow Fighters are a fun, feisty superhero team with their own personalities. There's Bimmy, the leader and martial arts guru with an attitude.
