In 1963, 17-year-old Alan Yawitch started work as an apprentice knitted school tie mechanic. From those small beginnings Alan, together with his wife Rene, established Tie & Badge International in 1978.Our success lies in our focus and today, 39 years later, Tie & Badge International is the leader in the school, uniform and corporate tie industry. It is now a second-generation family business run by Alan's daughter Cherie and her husband, Lawrence, and still carries the tradition of quality, service and price.
