The global organization of "The Indus Entrepreneurs", was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. With a global reach and a local focus, the heart of TiE efforts lies in its five foundational programs, – Mentoring, Networking, Education, Funding, and Incubation. TiE Dallas has carried out its mission through various programs like TiE Ventures (group to identify, screen, fund, mentor and grow local startups with participation from local, Bay Area, NY and other VC's), TiE Angels Program (seed fund to get ventures off the ground), TiE Women (program to showcase women entrepreneurial successes and facilitate development of women entrepreneurship), The Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) (mentoring, coaching and launching high school students youngsters the path of entrepreneurship in a structured program), CEO Speaker Series (unique insights and perspectives from CEO's of mid to large firms in the area), TiE Diversity and Inclusion (a program to involve underrepresented and disadvantaged groups), and TiE State of the Industry (insights on opportunities and challenges in specific industries). Through this community, we aim to empower and encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs!
