I am a Reading and Learning Specialist working in New York City, lower Westchester County, and lower Connecticut. After graduating from Princeton University with a B.A. in English and certification in the Teacher Preparation Program, I went on to pursue a M.A. in Learning Disabilities and a M.Ed. as a Reading Specialist from Columbia University's Teachers College. I have been in education for over twenty years, and have worked at several of the most elite schools in New York City. Tiger Tutoring is based on the understanding that everyone learns differently, and my mission is to ensure that each student gets an individualized educational experience, utilizing a number of different teaching approaches and styles. I provide school readiness skills for my youngest students and subject-specific tutoring to students of all ages. In addition, I provide application and essay preparation for college- and graduate school-bound students, and transitional support for students at all levels.
