The focus of T.I.H. is to provide the best possible geological wellsite services to the oil and gas industry without compromising the health and safety of any of our field staff. Our experience covers the WCSB. We have provided geological supervision on vertical, deviated and horizontal wells that have been drilled with conventional, under balanced and invert mud systems. In addition to our wellsite services, we are available to carry out core/drill cutting analysis at the AER and the GSC. Since we have access to the latest communications technology available, we can transmit the data to our clients by the most convenient and/or secure means required. All of our personnel are very familiar with the latest gas detection, MWD-LWD and wireline logging equipment currently in use in Western Canada. Our geological reports are concise, comprehensive and cover all of the wellsite information normally required by today's oil and gas industry. While we strive to provide a rapid turn around between rig release and delivery of our final geological reports, any additional information essential to our clients can be easily incorporated. We will also look after pre-spud preparations on our client's behalf, including ordering sample bags and vials, gas detection equipment and any additional wellsite equipment that might be required. We provide an extensive training programm to new personnel, which averages approximately 4 months of in house and field experience, depending on the individual. T.I.H. is a geological consulting company that is in good standing with, and has a permit to practice from APEGA. The company is based in Calgary and is registered in Alberta, Canada. TI.H. proudly supports many worthwhile local charities. T.I.H. Consulting was founded by Len Horback, P.Geol. and began operations 1982. Prior to starting the company, he had approximately 7 years of office experience and remains the main principal of the company.
