The mission of TimeBanks.Org is to promote equality and build caring community economies through inclusive exchanges of time and talents. TimeBanks.Org (formerly TimeBanks USA) was founded in 1995 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization office is located in Washington D.C. What is Timebanking?Timebanking is a way of giving and receiving to build supportive networks and strong communities. One hour helping another earns one Timebank Hour (also called time credits, service credits or time dollars.)
