Tinkle Alarm is an organisation who has created a solution for pickpockets. Every year around 300.000 wallets are being stolen, just as 17.000 mobile phones from bags or pockets. This could have a great, negative impact on the victims. Therefore, Miriam Schreurs, directive manager, decided to try to make adifference and created a concept to avoid pickpockets. Anti-theft bells have been created to decrease the number of harms. Due to her commitment for the society, Miriam hires people who have a distance to the labour market. These, people had less education due to circumstances or could not find a regular job because of illness. Negative experiences have led for these people to less, challenging jobsor no job at all. Tinkle Alarm offers the opportunity for people who have a distance to the labour market to show, explore and develop their talents. Furthermore, Tinkle Alarm values good working conditions, a healthy lifestyle, self-respect and independence.
