Tiny Dog Productions is a multi-disciplined Theatre Company, with in-house skills in acting, stage combat, puppetry, dance, gymnastics and circus. We cater to children and adults alike with our specialised youth & family theatre sector, as well as developing contemporary work and providing a platform for new writing. Youth & Family theatre Tiny Dog Productions' inaugural show was an adaptation of the Robin Jarvis novel 'The Deptford Mice'. Borne out of this continually developing show came the Tiny Dog Youth and Family Theatre. Using our strong background in physical theatre, we create highly energetic and visual adaptations of well known children's books that captivate audiences, bringing to life stories that are both old and new. Alongside the Youth and Family Theatre, we have developed the Tiny Dog Productions' Youth Theatre Programme. The youth programme consists of weekly sessions, each lasting for up to two hours, running for six weeks. Contemporary theatre & new writing. The contemporary theatre and new writing sector of Tiny Dog Productions provides a platform for new and developing work. The shows we choose to work with all have a strong, visual narrative, are highly energetic and tell interesting or challenging stories. The Theatre Breaks Festival, which is our vehicle to show case new work from across the country and is hosted every three months, is a series of evenings of short plays.
