TipCow allows fans to find and tip artists with their mobile devices and on the web, while allowing artists to manage their tips and profile through an easy to use dashboard.With the advent of credit cards, the mobile wallet, and consumers' diminishing reliance on cash as a payment method, performers, musicians, and artists have fallen far behind other industries in their ability to receive non-cash tips from patrons and fans. As a result, they fail to capture a significant potential revenue stream from those fans: cashless mobile and electronic tips. "Easier than cash" is our goal. We want to make it as simple as possible to register and validate artists, and make it simple for fans to find and tip them with their mobile devices. We are integrating as many payment processing and search capabilities, while keeping a focus on a simple and consistent design, as we can to make it easy for a fan to tip an artist so they can continue enjoying shows.
