TML Travel Group was launched on 1st April 2010 and is the brainchild of its Director, David Arkell, who has been involved with the coach tourism industry for some 20 years specialising in premier escorted day excursions and extended weekend breaks.During his time in the industry, David has been a Consultant to the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK, particularly its CoachMarque quality standard scheme for a number of years. He also "ghost writes" for some well established Group Travel publications on a variety of topics and issues. Being a qualified Transport Manager and holder of a full PCV licence, he is currently a consultant to ROSCO (The Road Operators Safety Council), which promotes safe driving amongst professional drivers & operators.TML Travel Group and Eavesway Travel are pleased to announce their agreement to work together in offering a more upmarket style of tour for the more discerning traveller. David Arkell of TML Travel Group explains "we had a meeting in January 2010 with Eavesway about general coach hire for this new venture and both parties quickly realised there was a lot of common ground between the two companies. Things progressed quickly because we realised that by combining my experience in premier escorted day excursions and extended weekend breaks with Eavesway's reputation and experience we had the basis to offer something very special to our respective client bases."TML Travel Group will package the tours and in addition to supplying coaches, Eavesway Travel will also market the tours to their clients.
